CIR

Crédit d’Impôt Recherche

With the CIR, our French clients save a considerable amount of taxes when placing research orders with us. This research-related tax credit applies to companies which are officially recognised by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and are registered for tax purposes in France.

GLP

Good Laboratory Practice

Since 2006, the RIFCON test facility has been included in the national Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Compliance Programme. It is certified in categories 4 (environmental toxicity studies on aquatic and terrestrial organisms), 5 (studies on behaviour in water, soil, and air; bioaccumulation), 6 (residue studies) and 7 (studies on effects on mesocosms and natural ecosystems). Our team is well experienced in conducting field studies under GLP conditions.

German Society for Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology

RIFCON is represented here by one of our employees. DGPT is a non-profit scientific organisation consisting of three sub-societies. Its statutory purpose is to promote the scientific and practical interests of pharmacology and toxicology.

DO-G

German Ornithologists‘ Society

RIFCON founder Dr. Michael Riffel is a DO-G member. This society is dedicated to promoting ornithology in all its forms and is one of the oldest scientific organisations in the world.

ECETOC

European Centre for Ecotoxicology and Toxicology of Chemicals

The main purpose of this international non-profit organisation is to identify and investigate possible adverse effects on health and the environment which may be caused by the manufacture and use of chemicals. ECETOC works closely with the scientific community, authorities, and the European Chemical Industry Council.

FZS

Frankfurt Zoological Society

This international nature conservation organisation aims at preserving wild animals and wilderness. Its area of operation includes national parks and wilderness areas. As part of individual conservation projects, FZS cooperates with local communities, nature conservation authorities, national park administrations, and other NGOs.

GQMA

German Quality Management Association

The largest German and second largest European professional organisation for quality management in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry offers regular information- and training opportunities to its members. RIFCON is represented here by three of our employees.

GV-Solas

Society for Laboratory Animal Science

RIFCON is represented here by one of our employees. This registered society is committed to the responsible handling of laboratory animals. GV-Solas organises scientific conferences and seminars, which also address topics that are relevant to the application and implementation of our field studies.

IBMA

International Biocontrol Manufacturers‘ Association

RIFCON is an associated member of IBMA, a worldwide association of the biocontrol industry, with its head office in Brussels. IBMAs intention is to contribute to the promotion of biological plant protection.

SETAC

Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry

This globally active non-profit organisation focuses on the study, analysis, and solution of environmental problems in connection with chemicals and other anthropogenic substances introduced into the environment, as well as on the management and regulation of such substances in the environment. RIFCON is a business partner and sponsor of SETAC Europe whose official journals regularly include publications by our scientists. The workshops we organise are certified by SETAC for training as SETAC environmental risk assessors.

ZGAP

Zoological Society for the Conservation of Species and Populations

This organisation is committed to the conservation of little-known, highly endangered animal species and to the protection of their habitats. ZGAP is internationally active. When supporting species conservation projects, the society follows a scientifically sound, holistic approach.

Caring for Conservation Fund gGmbH

The Caring for Conservation Fund gGmbH is a non-profit limited company registered in Germany, which is dedicated to supporting and implementing international initiatives for nature conservation. Its current focus is on Zambia, where the organisation runs its own local NGO, too. C4C channels funds and support into three main areas: research, community engagement, and direct conservation action. Since its foundation in 2018, the organisation has built up an extensive network of reliable partners.

Nsanga

Nsanga Conservation Zambia Ltd.

Nsanga Conservation Zambia Ltd. is a Zambian based public benefit organization. The organization works with various partners to provide valuable data to conservation stakeholders and support communities in wildlife areas. Nsanga Conservation Zambia focuses on ecological and social research, including the investigation of human-wildlife conflicts. Alongside its research work, Nsanga Conservation Zambia is actively involved in development cooperation, such as environmental education and improving living standards by promoting alternative livelihoods.
