Soil is the basis of life, and RIFCON looks back on over 20 years of experience in planning and conducting field studies covering terrestrial organisms. Any kind of soil organisms, non-target arthropods, or non-target plants – our field study department examines every relevant species found on or in soil. Our GLP-certified generic- and effect studies are conducted in accordance with the OECD guidelines and all other relevant guidance documents.
Our invertebrate experts adapt the various field study approaches to your specific needs. Therefore, we may focus on earthworms or springtails only, but may need to conduct full-fauna approaches or modified designs depending on the respective project.
Our experts develop research designs, select the study-related sites, prepare and manage study fields, and work with all conceivable experimental arrangements when conducting field studies. All of this is done in close consultation and cooperation with our specialists from areas such as ecotoxicology, environmental fate, effect modelling and statistics.
We are experienced in all sampling techniques and methods. Of course, eDNA sampling and analysis as one of the most promising monitoring and detection methods is part of our portfolio.
